What differentiates Selenium from other similar products?

Flexible, open source, compatible with many browsers, comes with some learning curve, but is very efficient later on.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Flexibility while using the tool and the fact that its open source, means anyone can use and improve it without extra cost.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Lacks features like visual testing, reporting, and a beginners will need some time to get used to the syntax and the tool. It comes with a learning curve.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are a beginner, start with writing some basis tests and gradually increase the complexity, Use documentation as much as possible for development.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Selenium offers numerous advantages, with its popularity largely due to being open-source and community-driven. It provides cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, greatly reducing the workload of testing across multiple environments. It also supports nearly all major programming languages, making it versatile for developers. A feature I particularly appreciate in Selenium is its ability to execute tests in parallel and its integration with frameworks like JUnit and TestNG.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Although Selenium fulfills most web automation needs, its support for non-web-based applications is limited. Additionally, even minor changes in dynamic frontend elements can lead to test failures, highlighting a challenge in maintaining stable test scripts.
